PCS is pleased to offer BIPOC Affinity Nights for every show in our season. Scroll down for details, including dates and ticket information!
WHAT
BIPOC Affinity Nights: The People's Party are a mindful curation of an environment meant to center the experience of people who identify as part of the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) community — dedicated to generating a space for BIPOC individuals to engage with the performance in ways that are authentic to them.
WHO
All people who self identify as BIPOC, and their guests, are specifically invited to attend. Though no one will be turned away, it is encouraged that folks outside of the BIPOC community join us on another night!
WHY
Portland Center Stage seeks to be intentional about providing space for underrepresented communities to feel welcome and free in The Armory. One of our many commitments to equity and access are our affinity nights — which allow for community members to gather in an environment that is safe and specifically created for them. These nights are a celebration of Portland’s vibrancy and diversity.
Portland Center Stage is committed to making theater accessible to everyone. Our affinity night tickets are available on a sliding scale beginning at $25 (or $5 with the Arts for All program). Every level has a meaningful impact on the art on stage. Thank you!
Thank you to our partners! Enjoy complimentary beverages provided by our generous Affinity Night partners, Multnomah Whiskey Library and Deschutes Brewery.
