Playwrights Welcome is a program created to provide free access to theater for theater writers around the country. Developed for the Dramatists Guild of America members, the national ticketing initiative was created by Samuel French, a Concord Theatricals company, along with input from other publishing and licensing houses. How it works:
- Playwrights participating in the program may request up to 2 complimentary tickets per production to any show in our regular performance season.
- Tickets may only be requested on the day of the performance starting at 12 noon.
- Seating will be assigned best available.
- We'll have you show your Playwrights Welcome ID Card when booking in person, or at will call when picking up your tickets.
Three ways to book:
- Call the Portland Center Stage Box Office at 503-445-3700 anytime between noon and curtain.
- Email on the day of the show anytime between noon and curtain.
- Book in person at the Portland Center Stage box office, anytime between noon and curtain.
