We invite all who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), and their guests to attend a performance of Tony Award-nominated playwright Christina Anderson's the ripple, the wave that carried me home.
Come early for a pre-show panel discussion with Black Swimming Initiative at 6:30 p.m. Then, stick around after the performance for post-show music featuring VNPRT at approximately 9 p.m., with complimentary beer provided by Deschutes Brewery.
All people who self identify as BIPOC, and their guests, are specifically invited to attend. Though no one will be turned away, it is encouraged that folks outside of the BIPOC community join us on another night!

Pre-Show Panel Discussion with Black Swimming Initiative
As part of The People's Party: BIPOC Affinity Night for the ripple, the wave that carried me home, join us for a pre-show discussion with Morgan Spriggs and Emily Lightpipe, co-founders of Black Swimming Initiative, joined by Morgan's daughter, Erica Spriggs, and WaterStrong partner Dena Marshall, as they talk about their vision for a world where racism is eliminated from the aquatics and water sports.
Post-Show Music Featuring VNPRT
As part of the programming for The People's Party: BIPOC Affinity Night, this special after-party will feature a DJ set by VNPRT with a unique mix of classic tracks and future sounds in support of the ripple, the wave that carried me home. Complimentary beer will be provided by Deschutes Brewery.
