Robi Arce
Puerto Rican actor, director, mask-maker and physical theater poet, Robi holds an M.F.A. in ensemble-based physical theatre from Dell'Arte International. He has performed, toured, and led workshops in México, Venezuela, Italy, Argentina, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. For the past three years, Robi has collaborated with numerous theater companies in Portland, including: Milagro Theatre, Profile Theatre, and he recently became a company member of Hand2Mouth Theatre. His work is diverse, created through a fusion of styles and fueled by social justice and change. His passion is to create a physical, dynamic, and poetic theatre that connects with people as sports connects with the fans. Currently, Robi is focusing his efforts to serve and empower the underrepresented Latinx diaspora in Portland to create new works through different multimedia elements.
