Julian Kosanovic

Julian is a musician with performing, composing, arranging, recording, and teaching experience. Having played cello for over 25 years, they have played in several ensembles ranging from the Tualatin Valley Symphony, the Vancouver String Quartet, and the cello rock group Portland Cello Project. They have recorded and performed with the polyrhythmic rock jazz band Human Ottoman, the punk Americana band Three For Silver, and singer-songwriter Nate Norton. Julian holds a Bachelor’s of Music in Cello Performance having studied under Hamilton Cheifetz. When they aren’t playing music, they can be found working as a data engineer and an e-bike mechanic.
