Heath Hyun Houghton

(He/Him)

An actor, writer and director. He holds a M.F.A. in creative writing with a focus in playwriting from Goddard College and a B.A. in theatre with a focus in performance from Humboldt State University. He also studied Korean dance and performance styles in Jinju, South Korea with USD Modern Dance. He is currently an Ensemble Member with Fuse Theatre Ensemble and Theatre Vertigo and a member playwright with Linestorm Playwrights. As an Intimacy Director credits with Profile Theatre (How to Make an American Son), Roots and All Theatre (Ritual Treatment), Oregon Opera Theatre (Nu Nah-Hap: Sacajawea’s Story), Shaking the Tree (Family), Fuse Ensemble (Shroom Show, The Queers, American Girl, Ronald Reagan Murdered My Mentors, Our Town), Salt and Sage (Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Holy Name, Titus Andronichus, Macbeth), and consulting work with Lakewood Theatre Company and Chapel Theatre Company.
