Evelyn Jane Wohlbier
Evelyn Jane is a local theatre artist who specializes in devised documentary theatre. She trained at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington D.C. and locally at Fir Acres Theatre where she earned her B.A. in acting. Most notably she produced, choreographed, and performed Fruit Bowl, an interview-based piece about Portland strippers (2023). Other credits include Bitch in Great Falls (2021) and Maureen in RENT (2022) at Fir Acres Theatre, and most recently performed in I Think of You: Illuminating Mass Incarceration from the Inside Out (2023) at Portland Center Stage.
