Estela Garcia
A Los Angeles native theater artist. Garcia returned to South Coast Repertory with Quixote Nuevo after serving as puppetry director for The Long Road Today. Writer/creator of Remedios Varo: La Alquimista, which was presented at the 2018 LAX Performance Festival, and directed Hija de Mi Madre for the Short+Sweet Hollywood Latinx Festival, which won various awards. Garcia received an M.F.A. in ensemble-based physical theater from Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre, is on the faculty of CalArts, and is a resident teaching artist for Center Theatre Group. @estelag6
