Dre Johnson

(They/She)

Dre Johnson (gender fluid) is a Queer Blatinx multi-hyphenate designer whose work spans sustainable apparel, intersectional feminism, artistic expression, and environmental justice. They founded Hidden Opulence in 2017, a Portland-based business focused on alterations, vintage refurbishment, and small run garment production with a sustainable lens. Dre champions an emphasis on BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities to help them look, feel and shine their best. Costume design is a medium that is integrated daily for her. Dre is thrilled to be debuting this passion with Portland Center Stage for The Light.
