Ticket Options

Portland Center Stage has ticket packages and pricing to suit every schedule and budget. While season ticket packages offer the best deals and the greatest flexibility, we know that subscribing isn't the best option in all cases. For some, purchasing tickets on a show-by-show basis is the way to go, and we have a variety of pricing options to choose from, based on everything from the day of the week you attend to seating preferences to discounts for young people and students. So be sure to check out all dates and options when searching for tickets online or talking to the box office. If you have a group of ten people or more, and want to come to a show together, our group rates offer incredible savings!

Below you'll find information about the various ways we invite you to attend Portland Center Stage. As always, if you have any questions or need assistance in determining which ticket options work best for you, please call our box office at 503.445.3700. The box office is open by phone from noon to 5:30 p.m., seven days a week.
 

Ticket Options

1. Season tickets offer the best deals with the most flexibility and a variety of "perks." Subscribers also get the first opportunity at choice of seating. If you're interested in as few as four shows in the upcoming season, call our box office about season ticket options.
2. When it comes to individual show tickets, the earlier you purchase your seats the better pricing you'll be guaranteed.  We also offer incentive pricing to those who purchase their single tickets early; prices may increase as tickets become scarcer. Single tickets for all shows in the season go on sale on September 1 to the general public.
3. If you are seeking the deepest discount, are willing to take a chance on availability of tickets, and don't have a strong seating preference, you may want to try our "Rush" option. If a performance isn't sold out, at a few minutes before curtain time and at the discretion of box office management a few tickets may be available for "Rush" purchase at $20 per ticket, cash only.
4. If you've waited too long to reserve your tickets, and you really want to see a sold out show, try "Standby." When a performance is sold out, starting at 90 minutes prior to curtain we will sell Standby tickets, at regular prices, for that performance. Should any tickets be returned prior to showtime, or should any of our ticketing patrons not show up for their seats, you will be admitted to the theater. If by showtime we have no seating available for you, we will refund your ticket price. A limited number of Standby tickets will be sold per performance, so early arrival is advised.

Signing up for our e-newsletter is a great way to stay informed on any special offers on tickets, which we make available from time to time. You'll also receive updated information on performances, invitations to events at PCS, and even special offers from our partner organizations around town.
 

Season tickets: PCS subscribers

Why subscribe? How often have you seen an ad or heard from a friend that there is a great event in town, and say to yourself, "I'm going to that!" Only to have a week or two pass and then you realize you missed it completely?

Season ticket holders have assured themselves that they won't miss a single production they know they want to see, and are often thrilled with the surprise of seeing something they didn't know much about!

Subscriptions are discounted over the single ticket price by as much as 30%. As a subscriber, you always enjoy the best seats in the house and these seats will be yours for as long as you continue to renew your annual subscription to Portland Center Stage.

Season ticket holders also get ultimate attendance flexibility. We know that PCS subscribers are busy, and that despite best plans sometimes schedule conflicts arise. You can exchange your ticket for another performance of the same play, as late as two hours prior to your originally scheduled time, with no penalty. Last minute changes in your schedule don't mean you have to miss the show!

In addition, subscribers receive discounts not only on their season packages, but also on additional ticket to performances for family and friends at a low fixed rate.

To make sure you don't miss one moment of our exciting season, we'll send you our free Virtual Valet email reminders of your performance dates, giving you plenty of time to make that restaurant reservation, plan your evenings, or, if needed, make an exchange for a new date.

New this season! When you subscribe, tell us how you'd like to pay: all at once, or with up to six equal monthly installments.

Seating is first come, first served. The sooner you buy, the better your seats.

Arts for All: Specially-Priced $5 tickets for oregon trail card holders
