May 20, 2013: Carnevale di Venezia: A Silver Success!

What a fantastic evening we had at our 25th anniversary gala, Masquerade Ball: Carnevale di Venezia! There were jugglers, stilt walkers, endlessly amusing acrobats, live music and a delightful array of treats, libations and prizes. Our guests arrived dressed to the nines and donning some truly beautiful and playful masks. What a Carnevale it was!

The Carnevale di Venezia is one of the world’s best parties. Our annual gala is one of Portland’s best parties, but to celebrate our silver anniversary we decided to up the ante. So we're throwing a Silver Masquerade Ball! What better way to honor 25 amazing years of creating theater? To get you in a festive mood, we take a quick look at the history of the Carnevale.
